[/quote]Hello. I'm happy to say that I have my Aux Input installed and working with my Ipod. I had it done at Gephardt BMW of Boulder. At first they said it wasn't avilable then I showed them the install spec from Iceman. The tech looked at it and said as long as they could get the parts in he could install it. It took a couple of week to get the parts in from back order. Worked the first time. They quoted me $150 for parts and labor.
I opted for and bought the Belkin Auto kit from Best Buy since it docks to the bottom of the Ipod and has a bult in pre-amp so I didn't have the gain (sound level) problem that others report. Also, it pauses the Ipod when you turn the car off. I don't like the fact I have to remember to pause or turn the Ipod off when I run into a store or the house.

My Ride: 525i, Orient Blue, bought used with 22000 miles. Grey lether, sport package, BMW Assist, Cold Weather package. Xenons. NOT premium for some reason, I do like the metal finish vs. the wood, but do miss the garage opener.
Iceman, I have the same problem as described above. AUx input installed but no sound. Others report bad wiring decription from BMW, is your PDF the CORRECT wiring diagram, or do they need to switch something even on that one?
