So, I have:

• iDrive Professional
• Navigation
• AUX In (comes through the back of the center console, accessible to rear passenger seats)
• Single CD changer in the front center console, right below climate control screens
• Can play MP3 CDs in the CD drive mentioned above
• Bluetooth
• Some wires looped in the back of the glove compartment box that I can't seem to get out without taking the entire compartment apart.
• The ability for me to program/code the car.

I DON'T have:

• 6 CD Changer

I'm currently using an iPod hooked in through AUX and a charger to the 12v outlet inside, which works... but I'd like something more integrated.


The OEM iPod kit seems like a viable option, but for a little more the Dension 500 seems to blow it out of the water when it comes to what it can do.

However, I'm reading conflicting things... I've heard mention that you need to already have the 6CD changer, some mention that you need to not have nav.. and several others. Never all at once though, so I'm not sure what's accurate or what's not.

Could someone guide me in the right direction?

 

Maybe this'll help...

Slid the fusebox from out of my glove compartment for a min to see if I could get a hold of where the cable went.. but it didn't get me far. The loop seems to wrapped into the big main cable, can kinda reached a dead-end there.
