Hi guys stop this BS, look when I got my full front my shop complained the same way, then I paid 800? which was ok for install and paint. Then I went to HAMANN HQ and saw how they work there, they confirmed it is silly to say this and NOT FAIR. PRIMED always comes primed, from who did you buy, PM sent.
Anyway they laughed when some shops compalined for the above reason, no it is 100% easy install the thing that you have to work on it is a tale, you install it and paint it, and
which part is it??? please show pics and post the athentic certificate or PM otw use info in PM

My hamann roof spoiler didn't fit perfectly either.

My Ride: 2007 550i, Black Sapphire, SMG, M-Aerokit, Sports Package, Comfort Access, Logic 7,
I had an Mtech front splitter, fit perfectly. Also a rear deck spoiler which fits like a glove. I'll tell you how my front end fits when it arrives next week.

exactly if it is ORIGINAL it fits it was designed that way. MINE always fit, but shop said first did not, so when I went there to change the fogs they took off and put back again in 30mins. How they could do it if it did not fit precisely...
your price you mention is nice so if you did a business like that ask your dealer to do something with that, where is the invoice, the certificate etc, you will need all for that and read your PM
HAMANN parts are high-end quality fibers mixed with cevlar or if you pay more, carbon with cevlar.
of course when those shops gets something they have never seen before are going to complain, never forget friends they charge us per hour!!! for me the tails install was charged 1 hour, although many of you did it in 20min

I'm coming home from work in the north sea on thursday, and then I will assist the painter fitting the parts on my car. Looking forward to it, but it's gonna cost me....
After conversation with ats77, Mr U.S. contacted me via mail.
I'm not too happy with his reply, does not look like that Hamann like negative criticism:
we got the information that you have problems with painting our parts.
I think it's not good and fair to write something in the forum when you don't have
any experience at all with the paint work of fibreglass parts.
Your paintshop gave you the information, that they need time to prepare (prime)
the parts and that this costs money.
Immediately you write something negative about HAMANN parts.
A good paintwork always costs a little bit more, because the most important is
the preparation of the parts. Also you never should paint parts under time pressure.
When you stress up the paint shop with time pressure, then they paint the parts
too fast and also they will heat up the parts too much, so that it could be possible
that the parts get deformed !
Please take care of this.
Also the parts should always be prefitted to the car before painting them,
due to tolerances of the vehicles.
Also you never should save money in the paint work of the parts,
because the painti work is an important fact that at the end the product looks best !
I hope that you will delete this negative statement from the forum immediately !
