Anyone install aluminum pedals and footrest?

[/quote]Maybe there is an answer in your statement. I do not remember exaclty what is wrong but is not a 100pc fit. The dealer said the pads for E60 should have slightly dif sizes that is why they don't offer the OEM alu ones from the previous models as accessories for E60.

My understanding is that the dead pedal size on the E60 is different (slightly wide in the center?) than other BMW models (E39 and others), and I've also read that the gas pedal on the E60 M5 is a little longer than other BMW models.

so how much would these be thru acs for the perfect fit. and as far as them being replicas how can you tell.....? And is the gas pedal to short? i will wait for your close up pics thanks

The point I was making is you want to make sure the pedals you're ordering will fit the car you have, and when you see some of these eBay listings that list every BMW model since Christ was a cadet, you have to be suspicious.
