Don't all 550s come with the M Aero kit from the factory? Maybe with sport package, but still, I thought more 550s than not had the M5 looking bumper atleast. Seeing as you have an 06 550, maybe they started it in 2008, because I know the brochure for the 5er said the 550 came with it.
I think it only comes with it if you get the M-Sport pkg which was only available more recently.

Watch it... That kind of talk will get you banned here...
JK hahahahahaha
My guess is that 99% of the members here love the MTech look
It really completes the car, and honestly I think the front of the car looks a little boring without it.

You're right. I was always under the impression the 550 came with atleast the bumper. Weird. But I did know that recently they began to offer the M-Sport package on all cars, but was 2009 My I think. I was using 2008 when I was looking for cars as a reference.
Technically it was an accessory all the way back to 2004, so you could order it with the kit. Just added a lot to the total price because it was a dealer add on - which by "stealer" standards means: "Let's rape em".

Without reading anything but the title of this thread, I've gotta say this: I love how the m-tech kit looks, but its on 2 out of 3 of all e60s, it seems - its just too common.

Model Year: 2004
i think the m-techs are fine, but i'd rather get oem m5 body kit on my car n keep my 545 badge... anyways... is it just me or are there slightly different versions of the m-techs that vary by maker/material? i think i've noticed two different versions...

My Ride: I have an 05 545i. It's a manual with a few options. This is my first BMW but I don't know how I'll ever be able to switch to something else.
If you wanted to get some custom sh*t up in here, take a pointer from out pals at MB,
