If m-tech is too "Vin Diesel" for you, then this one got to be "Superman" on steroid.

Thanks for taking my comments in the light-hearted way they were intended. To each his own. I just think the plain look makes for a really handsome understated sedan. Elegant, like Sleeper said.
Of course, if that guy with the newer car had offered to trade for mine, I still would have....

I certainly do not take offense to your dislike of the M-Tech kit. Appearance mods are a matter of subjective taste. That being said, I love the look of the M-Tech kit. To me, the E60 without it looks way too plain jane. I have seen kits made by other manufacturers and I like M-Tech the best. It makes the car look a lot more aggressive but is not totally over the top.

I actually just got mad because some lady that works 2 buildings down from me parked her 525i with the mtech on it right next to my 545i with the stock bumpers. i asked her what she paid for them and she said 4500. Haha that made me feel better

Sorry I cannot agree, I love the M-Tech bumpers!!
Don't all 550s come with the M Aero kit from the factory? Maybe with sport package, but still, I thought more 550s than not had the M5 looking bumper atleast. Seeing as you have an 06 550, maybe they started it in 2008, because I know the brochure for the 5er said the 550 came with it.

My Ride: I have an 05 545i. It's a manual with a few options. This is my first BMW but I don't know how I'll ever be able to switch to something else.
I think the m-tech kit looks great, not too sporty, just enough to make the car look a bit more aggressive.
But....I do think that the euro-sticks look horrible. IMO, those look more ricey than anything. Plus I like the yellow turn signals, I think it looks good.
*let the hate begin*
