We know, we're just having some fun...if you get bored later, do some searching about this subject and pay particular attention to a long thread where Iceman is a key participant...
I figured!

I guess this is turning into another long fog light thread!

1. Again, I have never even noticed other peoples fogs, if i did, it did not bother me one bit, ive never even thought about it. I never thought for half a second that they were doing anything out of the ordinary, but again, i have never really paid attention.

2. If I was starved for attention I would have bought a red corvette or a red porsche cayman (in my price range) or one of those roush stage 3 mustangs with the black wheels. not a black sedan, then tinted the windows because i like my privacy.

3. I think someone mentioned you can get ticketed for driving with your fogs on. Not true, unless they are aftermarket (at least for the states that i have lived in)

4. You know, I have some pretty weird pet peeves, many of you know that... but this one is to silly even for me.

5. I think Britt in NJ said he bought HID fogs to blind people with. doubful that is the reason you bought them... Is it really that foggy in NJ that you need to have some high-speed awesome fog lights? do you spend a lot of time in Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana? probably not. admit it, you drive with your fogs on too.

6. that is all.

I don't understand why people who use their fog lights are "posers"..... care to explain?

Putting an M3 badge on a 318i is poser, but using your fog lights?
They are posers because they are turning them on for show, while destracting and/or harming other motorists vision ( once again i reiterate.. i am referring to rear lights )

And an M badge doesn't blind me, makes me smile in amusement.. but certainly doesn't blind me!

this thread is about front fogs i thought. i think rear fogs are terrible. it is like someone riding their brake with a brakelight out.

What are fog lights? They are these two lights down near the bottom of the bumper that look pretty cool on, but those are fashion lights, not FOG lights!

You're good enough for Jersey anyway.

i have been through NJ many times, and visted friends and family there. if you like taxes, crime and garbage dumps, Northern NJ is for you. If you like taxes, boredom, and farms, southern NJ is for you. of course there is atlantic city but i dont gamble. The jersy shore is probably nice, but the people are probably hilarious.

I don't even think the US E60 has rear fogs anyway. That I could understand.

But I can't understand how front fog lights would destract other drivers since the normal xenons sit much higher....

I grew up in New Jersey and love the state. The New Jersey that you see from the Turnpike or depicted in the Sopranos is but a tiny part of the state.

Northern New Jersey is filled with beautiful towns and green spaces -- Sussex County, Morris County, the northern half of Bergen County. The Bergen County towns of my high school years (Norwood, Old Tappan, Harrington Park, Westwood, Closter, etc) have little crime, excellent shcools and no garbage dumps. All of the three NYC metro area states (NY, NJ and CT) all have high taxes, no doubt about that though.
