I'll be working on "video streaming" from iPhone today ... The price will be in 400-500 range.
I live in San Ramon and can assist you with installation.

You can connect it to an external display . It will work with Factory Display or any other displays.

There will be two types of modules. One for 2009+ cars and another for 2006+ cars. I would think it will work on 2004+ cars as well, but can't be 100% sure without testing it.

Any car-audio shop will be able to install the kit on your car. I will do my best to include DIY guide for the 5-series. For now I have DIY only for E90/E92.
