Thanks my530i. Unless I stumble on a cheaper set, I'll save my money for other mods before I'd spend it on those mirrors.

Hey EuroCF,

Hope things are well with you.

From an "M5 Wanna-be" (Hey, I only have the M5 mirrors and nothing else "M5'ish"!..... I just happen to think the M5 mirrors are way, way cool!), the mirrors on eBay look very MB'ish.

So you have a choice: MB Wanna-be,...or M5 Wanna-be.

P.S. - - Still waiting on the new jacket/shirt size to come in.

Agree, but BMW original is the huge difference. The car remains BMW ORIGINAL.
///M5 mirrors are distinctively different to all other mirrors and paired with the ///M aero kit, the car's look turns much closer to M5 look.

I just saw this on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-06-BMW-E...055619693QQrdZ1

What do you guys think? I like the M5 mirrors but it's a bit over priced to me and it seems I would be one step closer to being an M5 wannabe (no offense to those who has it). Do these mirrors look "cheap"?

Sorry CoolTones!! I actuallly think your car as well as all the other cars I've seen with M5 mirror, like Nick's, look awesome! I guess I was looking for a different option than the standard but the more I look at the pictures, the more I love those M5 mirrors.

But to press the issue a bit further, I was looking at the MStyle's website in the uk and saw that they listed E39 M5 and E46 M3 mirrors as options to fit on the E60 as well. What do you guys think of that?

Hey Attila, are those the new Hamann mirrors? Are they only for the 6 series?

Hey EuroCF,

I like these. There's no "clear lens" attachment that unfortunately MB has now tainted as "their" signature. Yeah, I paid a bunch for the M5 mirrors and it was purely an *emotional* purchase. But I love the way they look!

I like this style much better than the first one you suggested.

That eBay seller actually also has the same mirrors without the blinkers. At a glance, they look very similar to the E39 M5 and E46 M3 mirrors.

I guess the question is, would those E39/E46 M mirrors look right on the E60?
