Very true. I can't still can't justify spending that amount of money on just mirrors, no matter how nice they are.

True wind can be a pain but the extra 14OO you pay can be a lot of pain also
Exactly....I would rather stick with what I have.

M5 mirrors 16OO dollars: those 23O dollars. Auto folding included, die cast base....
Difficult
You can buy the ///M5 original mirrors new for 700 Euros, with shipping included, like I did:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8053720389&sspagename=ADME%3AL%3ARTQ%3AUK%3A1&rd=1
or even with much more less, if they are used:

Hmmm...that bad huh? I noticed that they look similar to the E90 3-series mirrors. Those would probably look better than our stock mirrors.

It'd be great to win the bid on the second one if I got it at a good price. I emailed the seller to see if he'll ship to the US. Thanks for posting that thread. Then again, every other person on this forum might be bidding for it now.

ECF,
Go for ///M mirror. It looks much better. The one you first suggested does looks like Toyota's.
To win the bid, sit in front of the computer 2 minutes before auction end.

Agree, but BMW original is the huge difference. The car remains BMW ORIGINAL.
///M5 mirrors are distinctively different to all other mirrors and paired with the ///M aero kit, the car's look turns much closer to M5 look.
