550 miles round trip road trip in summer, AC on. 2004 530i Sport 6MT. Average 29 MPG according to I-Drive. Some 85 mph sections on cruise control.

I'm averaging about 29mpg overall. Around town I usually don't rev my car above 2200rpm and that seems to make all the difference. If I reset it while I'm at highway speed I'm getting about 36mpg, that's partially because around home the local hillbilly cops have nothing better to do than pick on a lone bmw driver and seeing as the speed limit is 55mph I can't go that fast but oh well I get great milage.

i've seen it showed me 42 mpg once, after a 500 miles trip, it all depends on RPM's
