Well since I got my exhaust, I sometimes tend to be a bit lighter on the gas because its a bit too loud at lower RPM's. I looked at my MPG before filling up. And I'm getting 28.4 MPG? Am I driving too slow, or is my idrive messed up?

Not avg mpg, unless it's lots of freeway miles.
I usually get 24's during warm months and 22's in winter months. Some odd weeks I'll get 28's but that due to the balance of my driving shifting to freeway miles for that week.

I used to get 19 summer and 14 winter until I cleaned my fuel injectors and replaced my sparks. I shot back up to 26 mpg summer and 21 winter. Huge difference.
Your results makes me wanna try that on mine!

If I drive very conservatively on the highway I've managed to "average" over 28mpg on a couple of hundred mile trip. But one traffic jam or a few quick zips around traffic and the tank average settles into the low 20 range for me. When the bulk of my driving is "in town" my avg mpg on a tank is high teens / low 20's.
My mpg for all gasoline used/all miles - now at 34,290 mi (using a program on my Palm Pilot) is 22.3mpg. I am (well at least for the past 2-3 years) a very conservative driver!
As an aside & FYI, my recent travel schedule takes me past a Sunoco station with some of the lowest cash [last was $2.79] prices for Ultra.
So, for the past 3 tanks I've been using it. I gotta say, the driveability of my car is dramatically better ... And, though I'm taking advantage of what I feel is faster/smoother power flow my 3 tank mpg is running somewhat higher than my usual average mpg for this particular route [136mi/rt] and mix of driving conditions. [From 23.4mpg to 24.2mpg].
