If anyone did a side by side comparison please chime in. Putting all the frustrations aside for the Umnitza V2s, I think everyone who's planning to do this upgrade will appreciate your honest review. We have waited for so long to get the 2 brands compared and it's about time to decide.

I've read this thread b4 but I thought that Umnitza was working on the V2.02 which is 25% brighter than AIB V3. There's another thread with other forum members who just recently received Umnitza's latest version. They have been waiting for this since July. So now I wanted to hear from those members who have recently compared both brands. I'm about to jump the gun on the AIB but want to confirm this with you guys. Thanks.

here's the link to the other thread:

That old thread...I tried helping that member with that install. From an install perspective, the AIB's are WAY easier to install. True plug and play. However, Umnitza is cheaper.

All I can say is this... I've been to a westcoast meet where I saw AIB V1's, AIB V2's, AIB V3's and Umnitza V2's all side by side. This was in the dark too. Let's just say I'm happy with my V2's and that they are some of the brightest, if not the brightest. We honestly couldn't tell the difference between AIB's V2 and V3. A few other veteran members on this board were with me and they even concurred.

If I were you, I would go with AIB's, but that's just my opinion.

Installed last week! AIB V3.0

As you can see, in the daylight you can barely tell they're on...but at night? Oh what a difference!
