Question Aftermarket chinese headlights

Hello all. My E60 adaptive Xenon headlights were yellow and hazy, so a couple of years ago I wet sanded them, then clear coated them and regained some of the lens clarity. Now, the drivers side took in a considerable amount of water during a heavy rainstorm and shorted out. Also, in both of them, all the internal wiring insulation is brittle and falling off, so I was considering replacing them with aftermarket Chinese LED headlights. These look really attractive in the photos and have cool-looking running lights. However, I was concerned about the longevity of the plastic lens, and the light beam concentration on the roadway. Does anybody have any experience with these? If, so please reply and/or post. Thanks in advance. 🙏🏼
