i installed mine yesterday... sounds great.... with my SMG tranny it rev`s real nice.. the sweet spot is around 4200 RPM`S...

ok so i just put in the stock air box back on right now i will make an appt with the dealer n see what they say

You're going to ask your BMW dealer to install this for you??? I'm sure you mean your local mechanic, right?

im just going to get the system reset...then take it to my guy over he weekend to help me out

i been searching the forums also and there were some emissions increase popping on to other owners....is it really necessary to get new software when getting a CAI??? i saw that other memebers did it and they had no problems afterwards??

i had no issues with installing mine and did no software updates. never heard of doing that. i guess it can't hurt though.

no prob Joe glad to rep trinity!!

got a quick ? before the car goes in tommorow

On monday i put in this fuel treatment before work....which i thought about it TWICE but i said wha the hell couldnt hurt....BUT that sameday like at noonish the Increased Emissions poped up??

Could that Fuel treatment be the cause for the error to show????

That may have done it...but not sure...it shouldn't be the AFE at all. Let me know how it goes with BMW.

^ hmm intresting hopefully it is that.....i just dropped it off funny story...

im getting ready to finish up and the guy tells me is someone following you?? do you need a shuttle ride??
