where did you offer to let us test another intake? i am sure bigtopgt will be posting it there, and i'll stay out of it and lets see what happens
I didnt offer for you guys to test it cause I already saw how you tested it.........still with no vids. Ill give the afe intake to anyone that will let me video the entire session, dyno it and explain every aspect of the dyno procedure here .........IN VIDEO. Ill explain what the difference between an inertia dyno like yours vs an eddy current dyno and how the strap down can effect the numbers, etc. I will explain the load function, correction factor, measuring the IAT, etc....EVERYTHING.

even with a sketchy launch the trap speed will be your indicator of how much hp it makes. and if its real numbers you can tell from a drag strip all day, you keep racing dynos, i'll race cars. itsnt it how fast it goes what counts. you can make all the power you want on a dyno, i'll take mine on the street or the track.

who said you cant make 200 runs on a dyno? i know we did now have a fan up to the task of that many back to back runs and im not gonna break his car for you. i have made dozens of runs in a day on a car on a dyno. but whats the point if nothing changes between runs?
You can keep drag racing, we'll keep doing both. In the future, you should learn about the car before jumping on one of the forums and bringing all this nonsense up. Can you find me one bmw racer that is using an open element intake like the afe?

that is exactly why we didnt even losen the car between runs, i know how to cheat a dyno too. you can make a difference in tire pressure if you want. do it, dont offer do it.

He's your buddy, so I'm sure it shouldn't be too terribly difficult to obtain a copy of that video -- now would it?

you think a bmw works differently then a chevy or ford of ferrari? bmw "racers" haev road course cars usually, and they have a whole different world of things to deal with, they are at wide open throttle for hours on end, and done have half the heat shielding a street car does. this is a street car,not a race car. he isnt driving wide open for hours on end. pull up to a stocl m5 on the highway and punch it and you are going to win with your afe over a stock car. thats reality.

I'm wondering why in E's post the guy was from Bahrain, and In FEAR's post he was from Kuwait?? Kind of curious!

E's post....

We know from your dyno that it DIDNT lose the power. We also know that you dyno it differently than a lot of places around the world. Check M5board cause you can see the guys in the middle east have the SAME results. lol. There is a guy from Bahrain that used to argue with me on the board but a couple of weeks ago he posted a thread saying he took that thing off.
