Thanks for all the replies! I remember the AFE CAI Intake was a huge bust. I was just talking about the drop in air filter. BrabusW209AMG definitely set me straight. I guess it doesn't really matter according to the link that was posted? Anyway, I'm going to look for a BMC or K&N.

I feel them in higher rpms. there are a few threads about the gains from the rpi scoops. you can search for them in the upper right hand corner of the page. you can't go wrong with the rpi scoops.
