Advise on deleting muffler !!! 911
Guys ! Would like to delete my muffler on my 545i but do you guys have any idea if it would be too loud when crusing or accelerating ?? I really like the sound of the M5 stock not too loud but sweet , would like my car to sound like that but I wouldn't want to spend all the money on a new exhaust . Guys what do you think ? Any idea you guys may have ? Or advise ?? Really appreciated ..

Not only did I delete the rear muffler but also the center muffler AND both resonators on my 545. I think a Magnaflow 14386 ( 2.5in dual in/out) replaced my center muffler, the rest are all piping to dual exhaust with quad tips.
Nice smooth deep tone but nothing overbearing. Even on long road trips the wifey and kids don't notice. I love the way it sounds, you will too.

Mine is just removing the rear muffler. I think you will be dissapointed with adding a magnaflow to the end. It will still be quiet and hard to hear with the windows up. Our cars are so well insulated that mine is factory sounding at all cruising speeds and under full acceleration with the windows up it doesnt over power the music. Windows down and someone behind the car, that s a whole other story. It sounds sick outside.
