I just got of the phone with my bmw dealer. I asked the cost of adding M brake and gas and pedals to my manual geared car.

The accesoires guy sayd that Bmw doesnt offer it at the moment. I told him i say some ebay advertising where a seller offered a set , so they must exist. The ebay set has to be drilled into the existing pedal.

He warned me that their could be a problem. The gas pedal has a elektronique device built in that cost 4OO dollars. Its not like in the old day connected with a cable but is fully electronick. So drilling into the pedal could damage the pedalmodule.

Just giving you guys a warning. The guy would visit germany bmw soon and promissed me he would ask about a M Oem pedal offered by bmw itself but at the moment he would not order one because not in the option list

 

Did anybody try buying ebay pedals and did it work out?

I think that these pedals were made for the e39 not the e60.

 

yes i think so to but seller claims differently
, they will also fit E36 3-Series (including Z3), E53 X5, E30 3-Series, E34 5-Series, E60 5-Series, E32 7-Series and E38 7-Series
