My Ride: 2005 545i E60 Orient Blau Metallic
Premium, NAV, Winter Package, Heads Up Display, Logic 7 Audio, AngeliBright Upgrade [White], M5 Body Kit, M Embroidered Seats
I'm thinking of installing an aftermarket NAV in the wife's E60. I'd like to place something that accentuates the car. It's a black on black so a slim black case would look great. Ideas on install, location, product and most important -- PICTURES -- are welcomed.....

NO INTEREST!??? Let's jumpstart this conversation!
Here's the stuff I'm talking about....anyone ever try installing one of these babies???
The Sony 4.8" Screen

Check Out This Panasonic Puppy

...The In Dash Panasonic Setup [nedds a double DIN]

The Plenio....7 inches of viewing pleasure [and yes, it plays back DivXmovies too!]

And...the MONSTER of all The Sanyo [aptly called] Gorilla will allow for reception of terrestrial TV and 3D traffic navigation... [too cool]

So, what tickles your fancy????
This is the E60.net Forum --> Let's not look at the usual Garmins/Magellans [that's for bimmerfest]..
Anyone have any experience with these?? Comments? Suggestions???

My Ride: 07 BMW 525i Premium Package, Xenon Lighting Package, manual Transmission. Titanium Grey, 20% Tint around the back, 70% V-Kool on front.
Planned mods: Style 71 wheels with Toyo Proxy 4 tires, Sachs suspension upgrade, upgraded stereo, and many more to come.
i definitely like to have one of these
i was considering the panny at first, but although it's nice, the software itself doesn't seem to be as mature as the typical garmin/tomtom based on some reviews i've read
so i stick with tomtom 920 and couldn't be happier (well i could, but quite satisfied).
the sony one is new so i don't think too many people have it
the panny one was listed for $400 on costco awhile back, another one you can consider is the navigon 7100 which got the all black (and i think the company is based in germany)

I sent them an email -- they can ship the hardware to you but they reccomend a "Professional Install." To me, the hardware is one part but the install is even more important. Surely there are folk here in Stateside that can do this?????
