Hi there, I hope this is not a repost, I could not find any solved-thread dealing with EU-base stereo (4 speakers in doors total, 2 under seats, no tweeters, no amp in trunk) car...

I would like to sum here already made progress...

1- cheap mod: replace speakers in front door panels with some 10cm 2piece component set not deeper than 45mm (50mm max) and add tweeters to existing holes behind mesh grill (mirrors cover, A-pillar section)... it may be easily done, crossovers fit under door panel (I used double side 3M tape, holds well)...
costs: depends on speakers choice, 50-150,- Euro total, time spend 1 hour/side
gain: overall clarity and deeper front stage, very happy with it :-) sorry, no pics, did no take any :-(
