That manual will be good but it seems like you're saying that message is static because I don't have the 6FL option in my car. Also then why is it only displayed on the DVD option and not on the TV and Camera options.

i got a 08 328i rental from bmw... it has aux, and usb.... connected a usb drive with 192kbs songs on it, to the connector... First thoughts, pretty cool, songs come up on the display, awesome! Sound quality, not too impressed! For some reason, didnt sound as good as the mp3 cds sound...

Ok, here is the first pics of the USB interface kit for ACM. Just got it. 
No installation instructions with it though...

Looking forward to the install success on the older ACM module. However I never thought that BMW included instructions with kits. You need to get your dealer to download and give it to you from their EBA system. The ETK will tell you the number of the EBA document for this kit.
But someone said they have the instructions for this and was going to post it here.

Usually customers don't play at the little dealer .
But according to the european legislation a product without instructions is unsafe .

Yes but these are installation instructions that we are talking about and I don't believe BMW would classify this part as user installable.

Maybe ACM/USB interface installation instructions have been added into the latest TIS version...

Nic, Why didn't you get the dealer to give you a print out of the instructions when you bought the part. As mentioned Retrofit instructions are not held in the TIS but in the EBA system.
