Hey peoples, I have a question for everyone out there. I found an ad for AC Schnitzer Type V bi-color wheels online which claims the following:
"19x9 rear
19x8.5 front
all 4 authentic made in italy AC Schnitzer type V black gunmetal finish.
minimal curb-rash on 1 wheel
there are also 4 tires included 2 of which are brand new
they fit on almost all bmw vehicles except the 00-06 3 series (e46) , might need to roll the fenders here
however they fit very nicely on the e46 m3
they are forged NOT MACHINED, makes them very tough wheels
if interested or need more info call or txt XXX-XXX-XXXX"
Does anyone else thing that this is a little fishy? For starters, I'm fairly certain that the Type V wheel isn't available in a 19x9 size, but only a 19x9. The owner had them on an E92 335 with hub-centric rings... so I thought hey maybe they made the wheel in a different size for the 3er. Wrong again. Any input on this. Price is 1600 by the way, which is absurd. Granted they're used (2 owners) and have some curb marks, but still. Going to check them out tomorrow. I'm fairly certain just lifting one of them will be a dead giveaway. Thanks.

According to the AC Schnitzer UK website the type V is available in 20" and 22",it is not listed as a fitment for the E46 or the E92.It is listed as a fitment for the E60 ,9x20" front ,10x20" rear.Draw your own conclusion.
