I have a 2004 E60 (6HP19) showing fault code 5088 (L1-L4 switch). I have a board to solder in to hopefully correct this issue. Anyone out there done this? If so, any tips? As far as I can see, carefully use dremel to remove existing potting material, clean the area, remove the old board, set and solder the new board and reseal with new potting material. Any input would be appreciated. I read in another thread that refurbished TCM's can be ordered through ZF as an option. Has anyone done this? If so, maybe you can post the ZF site that I can visit?
