I think SC kit DOESNT weights 100 kg
...
On highway I do 9 kml, 8 when I drive fast, 10 when I am quite .
In Switzerland, @125 kmh of speedometer, 11 kml .
M5 does 6 where I do 9 .
I guess with SC kit I would do 7.5 where the M5 does 6 .
That *20k km/year is good .
But more important is the autonomy : 6*70 lt vs 7.5*70lt .
Only SC kit will be about ?5k ... Exhaust is not necessary .
LSD neither, if you don't live in mountain with hard bends on the way ..
Benefits : better consumption, not swap, less weight, more performance, more and more torque!

Again not to contradict you, i don't know where your numbers came from, for me bmw official numbers are the only reference. Considering that those numbers are conservative you can add a few liters/100km at every car. The m5 will add the most though but i doubt it can eat more than 30L/100km in heavy city traffic. It's just my guess that with a light foot and an engine that has been taken care of with a proper brake-in it will not exceed the value. The 545i will do probably 20-21L/100km in reality. My friend with the 645i told me he does 21L without too much stress. Adding a supercharger you can add 3-4L in heavy traffic right? So 25L 30L all the same to me. It's not like my diesel aka 12L max 14L. I can live with the extra consumption for the extra cake (8000RPM and 7 gears+LSD+the sound of the thing) Sorry i think in the end it's all about tastes with this comparison.

Then go with it man!
If I modify my car I will lost the "service" . And pay 5 for use 1 ... I prefer to utilize at least 3 years before mod the car and lost the "free" service .
In USA, instead, I have heard there is an agreement with BMW USA for maintaining the warranty also with SC .
BTW ... In USA this sort of mod is legal : if police stops you there aren't problems .
