I was wondering is a 2008, 2009 550i front bumper the same as a OEM MTECH bumper?

The reason I ask is, if I find a used one, will it be the exact thing as a OEM MTECH bumper?

My car is a LCI, so the PDC holes should fit from a 2008 or newer 550i bumper?

From my understanding, yes - sport package 2008+ 550's have OEM mtech.

 

There are actually 2 oem bumpers....one is oem standard front bumper the other is oem M-Tech.
Your car could potentially have either.

Show us a picture of what you have or want.

 

What they said and yes the 2008 and 2009 bumpers are identical fits for the 550i mtech.

 

I have a regular LCI bumper, but found a 2008 550i sport bumper and I wanted to make sure that it is the same thing as a Mtech bumper, cause I wanted to get the ACS style splitters that only fit the MTECH bumpers.

Thanks for the info, I thought it is, just wanted to be sure, cause I want to get the ACS style front splitters or 3D Design ones that fit the OEM MTECH bumpers only. I love that look.
