My Ride: 545i - GONE
Hey All,
The clutch on my manual 545i is going out, looking to get it replaced very soon. Anyone around the Bay Area have any recommendations on places to go? Average cost?
Also, for those who have replaced their clutch...which brand/type of clutch did you choose?

What are you experiencing with your clutch going out? I think mine is wearing down. I can still balance the vehicle on an incline, so I'm not sure it's to the point of needing to be taken in for replacement.

doesn't grab as responsively when I let off. I dont have to downshift in any gears, doesnt feel like clutch is entirely slipping. Feels kinda mushy at times.

My Ride: I HAVE A 2004 530I MOSTLY STOCK EXCEPT FOR 22IN ASANTI AF128 BLACK, I HAVE A 6 SPPED MANUAL TRANS. IT ALSO HAS DOOR CURTAINS WHICH I LIKE ALOT. NAVI. I HOPE TO CHANGE MY SEATS TO COMFORT SOON.
I replaced mine about a year ago. I went oem on the clutch and all together I paid around 1,900. I was at about 130,000 miles when it went out on me. After the replacement I had so much more take off power, but I don't drive fast anymore
