My Ride: 2004 BMW 530I steptronic, Orient Blue, Dakota Black Leather, Finishers Aluminium with Wave Cutting interior, NAVIgation, Radio PROFESSIONAL, CD in-dash, Hi-Fi extended sound system, PDC system, Bi-Xenons lights with washers, cruise-control, heated seats, Extended AC, auto"shade" mirrors, auto lights sensors, rain/wiper sensor, M-tech leather multifunction steering wheel, side airbags rearseats, sliding armrest, smoker's package (I don't smoke!), velour floor mats, spare wheel and jack, 122 style rims winter setup, M135 style rims summer setup [color=red]Mods:[/color] [color=blue]M tech sport steering wheel with M5 SMG paddles working retrofit done ! Trunk lid opening button retrofit done.[/color] [color=blue]3M window 35% tint done Chrome grilles E60.net Clings [/color]

this all seems like some bull$hit...... basicaly so far there is nobody with remapped 530i...... 50hp increase on R6 engine just by remap, yeah right.......jsut another way to mess up the car.....

if you feel like that ... fair enough. personally i've found the experience very pleasing! and with the claimed 27hp increase for 545 i really don't think it's gonna do any damage!!!

in answer to questions regarding CIP upgrades .. apparently it will overwrite the remap, but DMS keep the prog for your engine and re-instal foc.

I'm talking about 530i

I'm glad you like on your 545i.... as to damage to the engine..... we will have to wait for 2-3 years to find out

But I would say there is a little chance for some little pump or cam to fail.

normally every sw update overwrites the re-map, but when you get it by a pro, normally after that they put it back free or less.

How much is it for a DMS?How long is it going to take?Do they have it for the 650?or any 6 series?

i paid ?934
it took them c1.5hrs.
they haven't had time to work on the 4.8 as yet.. but they can do it for 630/645
