Does anyone make a short throw kit for the 6 Speed Manual in the 545i?

There are currently two nice ones on the market that I would consider.

First is the Rogue Engineering that comes with the shifter and the selector rod. I have this in my car. second is the UUC SSK but as I understand it, the DSSR (selector rod) was not available last time I checked.

If you decide to swap shifters, I recommend the Zeckhausen Clutch Delay Valve swap as well. Both of these mods make the 6 speed much more enjoyable to drive. Total cost for the parts is a bit over $300 and whatever labor costs you. I did mine at my indy shop and the labor was $175, but I was his helper for free.

good luck
