What's the sound, droning difference?

I have the remus quad built for the 530, and was the first I believe on E60 to put it on a 550. It fits perfect, no modifications.

There is no droning, it's quiet as stock in the cabin, except when you get on the gas it roars.

Albeit I actually have been debating deleting one of the resonators. Just haven't gotten around to it.
