535i 6MT swap
I have a 2007 525i 6MT laying around, trans is in perfect shape. I'm looking for a 535i/xi but all I can find are autos.
Would it fit into a 535i (or better yet, a 535xi since it snows here) or would I need a different transmission? What parts would I need in addition? I have no gripes about sending the 525 to the junkyard after, doesn't need to stay in a running state if that helps.

My Ride: E61 530xi 6MT
Model Year: 2007
Engine: N52
100% the N54(turbo) and N52(non turbo) have different transmissions. The N54 will destroy the N52 trans pretty easily.
Also I believe E90 (3 series) transmissions are the same for manual
