25% is a good figure for just a remap - you'll certainly notice the difference (I'm talking here about my petrol turbo tuning experience, as I don't have my 535d yet...).

It's not a "massive" increase, by which I mean I'd expect the drivetrain to cope on a typically over-engineered German car.

Hi E60 525d , that's a massive flat spot apparent in the graphs above, I think it would be a real nuisance on the road.
By the way , I just looked at the pics of your car - and wanted to say how good it looks! I'm not normally a fan of 19 or 20 inch wheels - but yours (combined with the tints + chrome grill) do look very impressive. Keep us up to date with the rear screen install. Cheers!
PS did you fit the grill yourself? I hear it's tricky

I don't think that's a flat spot - I'd suspect that the RR operator didn't start the run in earnest until just over 2.5K, for some reason.

Re DMS one-click problems - heard an isolated report of a (Audi) user having trouble putting his car back to normal - but this could well be user error or one off problem.

Thanks Guest i didnt install the grill myself. Nearly everyone who has come up to me have always said how nice the wheels are! No one has said how mice the car is just the wheels.

The person at the parts dealer done it free of charge since it only took 10mins.

Clived, i have spoken to AMD and DMS and the reversible remaps are not available on ED16 engines.

Hmmm.... Might as well go Hartge then - at least it comes with warranty!

They've not got remaps for the ED16 engines aswell. Guess we just have to wait.

Sure - I meant when they are available, I'd favour Hartge over DMS.

I can answer that - I've driven over 170,000 miles on 'tuned' diesels and the answer is a clear YES.

Few thousand km's behind and I can say that you really feel power increase.

SG535d, why did you go for speedbuster?

Let us know how it goes when you fit the tuning box.
