Has anyone fitted a Quad exhaust to the 535d? If so can someone post some pics, I am removing the rear sport diffuser and have purchased a carbon fibre to replace it, with dual openings, just want to see it anyone has the layout, also I would like to keep the exhaust vacuum valves

The issue may be space on the other side for the pipe work as the floor pan of the standard E60 may not accommodate it easily from what I have read. I think some people have the pipe on a y or x type set up and the pipe bending round the spare wheel well..

Keep us up dated on how you get on...

you may also need to ensure you get the same back pressure as it will effect the DPF regeneration

Are you sure we have vacuum controlled valves in our exhausts?
Realoem does not indicate that we would have something like that.

Lots of people are mounting quad exhausts on their L6 cars, i dont see why our Diesels should be any different.

I will check and let you know, but I am pretty sure they have vac valves, also backpressure is not normally a problem on forced induction, I found a hamann quad exhaust for the 535d l/box had vac valve and on the right side it was just a pipe, they seem to split just before the wheel well, I will let you know when I get mine fitted, but I won't be using hamann far too expensive

This is a mod I was thinking of doing myself., I was looking at the exhausts and carbon diffusers on mstyle.co.uk but unfortunately they don't have any installed pictures up yet.

I ordered the rear diffuser from ebay, shipped from Tawain, took 3 days to arrive, I will probably go to mstyle for the exhaust to be honest
