I think its better to have the auto box, not only can it take more torque, but its hard to change in the manual, as revs rise extremely quickly in low gears. Theres not much difference in the auto and manual 530d (0.2sec)

My Ride: Oxford Green E60 530D with tuning box and all the toys!
That really interests me - the figures showing that the manual is only just quicker. I'm sure they are right, but having driven both for many years, I've gotta say that the manual always feels much MUCH more responsive. Has anyone actually tested manual v auto with and without DSC switched on? My money would be on the manual by a full second 0-60.
I have auto at the moment and I'm sure I would be giving my gearbox and drive train much more grief if not for the torque converter gently slushing me around the place. So if anyone wants to try this out, please don't use my car! (04 530d +box o' trix)

Heinz also sees what type of gas you use and optimise it in normal amounts you can get a drag car or a higher top speed, I will try in btw but these stuff are just ...
