Hello, I've been looking to get a bit more punch out of my N52 and decided that the 3 stage intake manifold would be the perfect fit. I've already found a used 3 stage manifold and some aluminum disa rebuild kits on eBay.
The only issue I'm finding so far is I can find absolutely nothing online for actually tuning a 3 stage intake swap on an E60. E90? Several tutorials on YouTube and forum posts on how to flash the 330i ECU map to the 328i's ECU. bimmerlabs.com even offers step by step instructions on how to do it, with the included 330i map file to download & flash via WinKFP. I saw a video of someone who did it with the help of Dean (BMWDoctor), so I know it's possible on the E60, but the dude left zero instructions whatsoever.
tldr; can anyone instruct/guide me on programming the DME on my 528i so that my 3 stage intake manifold can actually be utilized?

If thats all your changing on ur car then you don't need to. But for a 528 im not sure there is much in the way of companies that make maps to flash that. Like u buy MHD(for example) and it has maps that u flash your ecu to use. If u only have an intake. Its not worth the cost of 400 dollars or more to dyno tune ur car. U don't have a 535. Unless u have a turbo and all the other parts u can then get it dyno tuned.

From everytjing I have heard, the 528i map will NOT take advantage of the DISA flaps for the 3 stage intake manifold. It would be the same thing as just swapping the intake manifold with a stock one if the ECU doesn't have the appropriate map. Does MHD even work with N52? I don't see anything on the MHD about N52 compatibility, only N54.
I just picked up a 2006 330i 3 stage intake manifold. My car is a 2008 528i, has anyone successfully swapped their intake ? I plan on rebuilding it before installing (all new parts, alumni disca valves, new gaskets, new hoses ect.) Any help in buying the right parts would be much appreciated. Thank you in advanced

Its an N52 so itll all swap over the same. BMW Disa valves are the best and do last the longest.
Try Bimmerlabs for the free tune; youll need one to activate the Disas in the tune
