Default 3 Stage Intake Manifold

Hi guys, I am looking into getting the 3 stage intake manifold installed but my enquiry is can it be installed without the tune for the time being..... Will I still feel the power or does it all have to be done one time only?

A little bit more info would help like your year and model of E60 along with brand of intake.

It's a 523i touring 2006 model, an oem intake manifold will be used with all the components. I would ideally like to install it and wait like a month or so before tuning it and wanted to ask if this would be possible
