Default 525i e60 Intake manifold

so i was just wondering i read a few forums and read that upgrading your intake manifold to a 530i will increase 50hp and will feel abit faster then the usual 2.5l engine.

has anyone had this done? and also would it require a ecu remap? just want abit more power out of the motor because its not bad motor for a 2.5l
thanks guys new to this

Yes,you need a remap to take full potential of the 3si,you will feel the extra without it,but you want see numperw like that, especially on a 2.5. Realistic numbers are 20-25 Hp.
