You can buy this as a universial set. Its not so expensive. About 1OOO dollars i think. (add a extra 1OOO for labour)
But the problem is i think that the results will create a weak spot on the frame
of the car causing the doors to hang after 1 year or so. I am not sure but
by the look of this kind of work done (i have seen constructions pics) i would
not do this without more research

Apologies for the quality of the pics which is not that good compared to some of the high quality stuff I have seen here. Makes me wanna get a new camera...

Absolutely love the car and have esp. not regretted getting the Logic7. Simply fantastic sound system!

On the list:
* chiptuning
* M5 sport mirrors (which are in the Accessories brochure, but no price and delivery date known yet)
* M-Tech pedals (ordered already)
* wheel spacers (under consideration)

Very nice car good options.

Nice wheels but ask pmmeke to take you to Heinz get more HP than the mirrors.
Get rid of the dealer badge, and hey Bro it is kooool

get the spacers also ask the BELGIAN PRO.-) mentioned above!

Congrats!

Thanks. The mirrors and the extra HP, both will happen.

On the spacers I am having 2nd thoughts. Visually, there's no doubt you can improve the look of yr car. I am not an expert on these matters, so I will take the advice of the people that know better, but I just wonder whether it is a good idea to manipulate such a finely tuned vehicle in a delicate area as a car's suspension. I am sure there is no immediate risk if you don't exaggerate on the extra mm's, but it's difficult to believe there would be no impact at all.
If you would go for e.g. 12mm on both sides, we're talking about 2.5 cm in total (= an inch ). The more I think about it, the less I like the idea.

Yes i was in the neigbourhood to control everything
Spacers: you got to reallign the car. Its a small matter to be sure your tires dont wear out to soon if you use spacers.

Thanks Phil!
Although I was aware of it, I must admit that the level of blue still manages to surprise me at times. It really depends on the circumstances, i.e. angle and distance to the car (like you said) and amount of light.
Although I have a preference for the real black, it makes the color even more special I think.

Installed my M-Tech (like) pedals today. Have been a bit of a copycat, since it was Pmmeke that gave me the idea...I am guilty... a big thx !!!
Pmmeke's tread on the pedals is at http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=10198 (incl. installation instructions)

I did not completely follow the installation instructions, because I could not find the 2nd bolt on the gas pedal box. I removed 1 bolt and then had to move the box upwards, so it came loose. Took me a bit of time to find that out...

But I am happy with the final result. Although this is the same mod in almost the same car as Pmmeke's, here are some pictures anyway.

Next should be the M-mirrors, but still waiting for a price from my dealer.

Hard to explain. Its something that pleases yourself
