In fact, originally I wanted to stick to the Flashlight Walknappa interior that comes standard with the M-Sport package. I found this visually very attractive and more sportive than the leather I have now. But because I have the Business Line Package, I had to take the leather. The nice thing (for me at least) about the amethyst interior is that it is 2 tone, i.e. combined with black everywhere (back of the seats, door interior etc).
I just took a look at the amethyst exclusive leather in the brochure, and it looks really good indeed. The problem is that the option list of BMW is so long, and you have to make some choices somewhere.
Now, because I don't have the exclusive leather, I think I deserve to get myself the M-Sport mirrors...

I think all of the Bangle era cars look best when viewed from an angle.
I owned a Z4 for about 18 months and the angled view from the rear was hands down the most striking way to view that car.
