35% window tint
[attachment=3893:attachment][attachment=3892:attachment][attachment=3891:attachment][attachment=3890:attachment][attachment=3889:attachment]I had the 5 windows tinted with 35% tint from Wintech in Costa Mesa. They did the job at my house for $175. The installer put a piece of Huper Optik across my back window and the AM radio stations experienced static. The name of this tint is Madico. Huper Optik was my first choice and that price was $425. I would recommend Wintech in Costa Mesa to anyone willing to drive to Orange County or they will come to your home/business if in Orange County.

>>>I had the 5 windows tinted with 35% tint from Wintech in Coasta Mesa. They did the job at my house for $175.
What is the warranty?
>>>The installer put a piece of Huper Optik across my back window and the AM radio stations experienced static.
So this was done as a test? Other members have Huber Optik. I wonder if they have AM static problems? I wonder if they care?
>>>The name of this tint is Madico.
Is this the tint that was installed? How long did it take? What type of Madico tint is it? Chacool? Onyx? Here's a link to Madico specs. Here's a link to Solarco.com another So. Cal area tint install that sells Madico. There's also links there to general info on tinting that are very informative.
>>>Huper Optik was my first choice and that price was $425.
Madico is a significantly cheaper. What't the difference between it and HO?
btw, your ride looks really cool!

Jimbo,
The Madico tint is "Charcool" and it took about 3 hours to install. Madico warrants the film for as long as you own the vehicle against fading, color change, cracking, crazing, delaminating, or adhesive failure. I understand Huper Optik is ceramic, keeps the vehicle cooler, and is supposed to protect better against interior fading.
