Not a new M5 but mebbe a 2008 6 speed M5 in Interlagos Blue which I never found. Almost impossible to find one in blue 2008 with 6 speed. I DONT WANT SMG!!!

And yeah, we are crazy but the HD screen looks JUST RIDICULOUS!!

I said I was done spending on mods this year, but if this can work with no bugs or problems I may have to consider this.

Just found out that after the install you will need 2 sets of FSC codes, each FSC codes are generated to match YOUR vin number to have the CIC run properly.

1) FSC codes - navigation = 500 EUROS (includes the 2010 US map version, every new future update requires a set of codes to update your car's navigation. That means no more downloading navigation DVDs off the internet)
2) FSC codes - voice control = 500 EUROS
and 300 Euros for the coding which is done remotely

1300 EUROS for CODING??? i think this is a deal breaker for me.. If ANYONE knows where to get these codes for MUCH MUCH lower PM me! Also if you do not want the navigation/voice control options you can still run the cic plug and play without any coding. You will have access to teh hard drive, music, car info, etc..

If anyone is interested in this retrofit feel free to PM me, I can give you the details of the person acquiring the set of FSC codes and programming. For whomever is interested, your looking at give or take $3000 for parts and programming.

Just had a Lengthy talk over the phone with Technic and it looks like im gonna be the guinea pig . Im gonna head down to Ft. Lauderdale in the next week or so. According to him the two biggest hurdles are getting the the lci idrive controller to work with my M-ASK set up and seeing if the guy that does the FSC codes can generate them for my car.
