Hi! I'm sure the same topic has been here already, but I need specific answers. If I buy 2008 lci tail lights, does it fit to 2004 pre-lci? Do I need extra wires for the change or what? (e60 530d)

 

Normally, it would require you to buy retrofit adapter and swap out your Pre LCI Light Control Module for a LCI Light Control Module (LM2).

You can maybe search around, I remember a while back seeing that some people did the retrofit without buying the LM2, if only changing the taillights.

 

lm2 depends on what month your 04 was made, I have an o3-04 and my lm2 module won't dont do daytime running ae lights and always has lights on dash, it's cause there is another module in the glove box you have to rewire in the wiring harness it's big job
