Just thought I give the Canadians a heads up if they're in the market for a new battery.

My battery was ready to go. Didn't want to go through the cold months with a battery that had to be trickled twice a week! I searched high and low for a low cost alternative. Happened to stumble on the MotoMaster Eliminator 10-4985-8. It has all the the same specs as my OEM battery plus an additional 50 CCA.

My OEM battery was 850 CCA, 110ah NON AGM

The Eliminator is 900 CCA, 110ah NON AGM

Popped out the old one, popped in the new one. It was just a tad shorter then the OEM one but everything else was dead on. Vent hole and poles.

No problems, had it registered by a friend and everything is great. Comes with a 4 year replacement and boost warranty and the best part is, it was only 175 dollars with tax.

 

Good to know.My battery went in the spring,but still under warranty so dealer replaced.Who would have guessed,CT to the rescue!
