i dont post up here much but thought id give a teaser as to what im plannin over the comin holidays.
currently i have an ugly borin se front end and recently bought a damaged used sport bumper.
spent a long time fixing it and getting it looking like new and just sprayed it to match.
however i just got this f10 sport bumper very cheap and so i plan to modify it to fit also!
no idea what itll look like but at the end i should have a choice of fitting either a oem e60 sport or a one off oem f10 sport butchered to fit!

Very interesting.
I'm just thinking that fitting an F10 bumper into an E60 will make the car look like a desperate trial to have an F10 looker.
The F10 bumper itself looks gorgeous, but because it is from an F10, putting it into any other car is ...

yeah i know what you mean and im thinkin the same. but i figure why the hell not give it a try!
i seen the ericsson amuse style bumper and its very similar in style to the latest generation bmws so maybe this will suit.
plan is to chop the bumpers in half horizontally n then plastic weld the f10 lower section to the e60 upper section.
it may work n look awesome but then again it may look total cack n end up scrapped!

Yes. Now, thinking it again...
As you have to do some major modifications to the bumper to make it fit, the overall looks can make the bumper look not so much the original F10 bumper, and therefore installing it to an E60 can make it looks very individual. If you understand what I mean.

I'm not to fond of the F10 Mtech bumper. But I might be wrong and might look killer because of the sharp lines on the e60. It is a monumental project to start but very anxious to see the result!

Quite ambitious yes but you see I've entered the e60 moddin game quite late compared to some of you other mod geniuses and I'd like to make my mark n be the first at somethin!
I'm no codin or electrical whizz but bodywork is my thing havin worked in a bodyshop and built many custom and kit cars. Hopefully if I can pull this off I'll move a little step closer to some of the mod gods on here!
