Any way? Or any cheap way? There is the OEM BMW iPod adaptor which connects in the glove box, replacing the 6-disc changer. Denison also makes one that connects through the glove box as well. Bottom line is if you want to control through the iDrive, you lose the 6-disc changer. Only other choice is the Aux Input which is lower quality sound and no iDrive control. The BMW adaptor ran roughly $500 installed on my old 545...

Thanks for answering my question. Sounds like a little more money than I am looking to spend. I would give up the iDrive control for a cheaper way. With the AUX input is that also accessed in the glove box? My car is not equipped with the 6 disc changer....I just have a single CD drive above the navigation DVD drive. Thanks again for your help.

Can't recall where they put the Aux Input but I think it is the glove box as well. No worries if you don't have the 6-disc, it is pre-wired so making the connection is easy...

Thank you.....I don't think the 2006 model has the AUX under the rear seat passenger's AC/Heat vents...don't think that came along until the 2007 model year.
