Well I'm thinking of purchasing a cheapish 545i, and I had noticed it doesn't have any m tech items (steering wheel, rims etc)

I had noticed there is a wrecked M5 in my area and I'm thinking perhaps I can use the rear bar, rims, Steering wheel silver trim panels (dash, ac vent surronds, silver door trims F&R)& possibly the front seats (I believe these have active side bolsters which would require some form of reprogramming?

I believe all of the aforementioned items are a simple straight swap, just unsure of the front seats?

Also is there anything else I should be looking of raping the M5 of (besides the awesome V10 and 7 speed smg box?!?)

The seats would need programming, modules, and the buttons on the lower dash to enable all the way.

I also believe the rims have different offsets, so spacers are needed on the rear.

Thanks for your reply, may I ask where the modules are located in the car?

So the spacers are needed on the rear to ensure the rims don't clash with suspension components?
