My Ride: 2004 BMW 545i Sport Package, Titanium Gray II Metallic, Wheel Style 124
i left the dealer disappointed because ideally i would love to pair my iphone and add the cradle to my 2004 545i ... but step 1 i need bluetooth they estimated $1,000 only for bluetooth so the gentleman suggest i goto al & eds autosound the technician wanted to sell me a $500 unit but it was not integrated to the sytem and for $1,500 including installation they have Mobridge Bluetooth Handsfree and iPod interface and this is integrated to
mObridge Bluetooth and ipod
has anyone heard any reviews about this product
and second of all would i be able to introduce the iphone cradle for my '04

First, many dealers are misinformed about BT. What is the production date of the car? If you don't know, look inside the driver's door and there should be a white sticker on the door jam with the production date, looking like 04/04 for April 2004. As long as the car was built in March 2004 or later, you should be able to get BT activated with a software update.
Edit: Here, check out the BMW notice about the issue. See bullet number 4 where it explains the process for cars built between 03/04-08/04...

I just asked my dealer this question yesterday to getthis completed. the software update and and change of equipment said it would be 380 to have the bluetook completed.. i think the ipod upgrade at the dealer is already expensive like 600
