People i need some advice quick. Im about to get a set of 19" rims for my ride 8.5 front and 9.5 rears. I really can't afford the 20" right now, but i'm thinking are 19's going to look to small? If anyone has a similar setup of 19" rims with a dish on them please post your pics up. I might be picking them up in 2 days so i need to be sure of what im doing before i go there.

Also the guy at the garage is offering me tyre sizes of 245/35/19 and 275/30/19. Are these sizes ok???

Any advice will help.......

19s are just fine on the E60. 20s are nice but one can make do with 19s.

245 rear and 275 front is a good staggered setup for the E60.

in my opinion, they will not look small if they do not have a lip. for those tire sizes, yes those sizes are the recommended sizes for those dimensions of the wheels.

because of the size of the E60, 20's do look much better on the car.

i think 19's will look okay if they are OEM-style wheels (166, 167, 172, etc...)

It all comes down to the style of the rim, like Nerwyll pointed out.
For example my summer Alpina Classic 20" with a lip only look slightly larger than my winter OEM 128 19" without a lip.
I personally think the 19" with a lip will look quite small in comparisson, however if you are coming from 17s or 18s, they may be fine for you.

In my galleries you will find pics of the following set ups to help you understand the optical differences of wheels on the same car:
- E60 on 20" Alpina Classic (multi spoke with lip)
- E60 on 19" OEM 128 (5 Spoke without lip)
- E60 on 19" OEM M166 (multi spoke without lip)
- E61 on 19" OEM M172 (multi spoke without lip)

I have 19" style 95 fitted at the mo and alternate them with my style 172's neither have a dish but I think 19's are the best for the E60, 20's are too harsh a ride imo.

I LOVE the look of 19" 172's on our cars...that is the direction i'm leaning to once my tires wear down and i can put winter tires on my stockers.

Thanks for your opinions guys!! What drop do you think i should do with? I already have standard m-tech springs, so i was thinking of going with the eibach pro kit which lowers by 30mm! Will this lower 30mm on top of the m-tech suspension?

The 30mm will be the total, so it will lower it another 15mm beyond your m-sport's 15mm lower suspension.
The general concensus here is that the Eibach Pro kit is more comfortable than H&R Sports, which would be another 5mm (?) lower than the Eibachs.
Plenty of posts in here on that subject -- just punch in Eibach into the search bar at the top.
