So I'm starting to browse new rims, I am just undecided whether to go with 19 or 20. I'd like to know from you guys that have these two wheel sizes.

The way I see it, the smaller more expensive 19's would be a better ride and that's important. However, the 20's are cheaper and how much difference can it make? Your opinions will make my decision.

Thanks,
Dale

Depends on the wheel style that you're considering.

If you're going for lips, then you have to go 20s.
If no lips, then 19s are ok.

This is what I'm looking at, either with a lip:

My 1st impression is tha Lips take a beating on Pot Holes... Unless of course you have one or two spares, or a good Wheel Man, and or An add on Insurance Policy to cover the Bent rim/lip; Then your made in da Shade and Styling with da Bling.

I'd say 19's, 20's will be rougher, seeing as how you live in Texas and the roads here aren't really the best. I can't personally talk about El Paso though. Are you going with OEM rims or aftermarket? Do you have pics of your car? Depending on what you have already done to your car or what is planned can influence what might look best. I'm personally a fan of lips, that are flush with the fender. I also really like 166 OEM rims.

I'm thinking of the same question too. I'm going with 20" (20x9 and 20x10.5), and my car is not lowered yet (non-sport).

Anyone recommend 20" on no springs, or will my gaps look really big? What tire sizes would work best for comfort if not planning to lower any time soon? This might help the OP as well as opposed to double posting thread topics.
