I know this has been discussed a bazillion times here...

I found someone that is selling their OEM 167's off their M6. The tires still have about 80% tread so they are just about new. There is a small bit of rash on one rim (about 1 inch worth). The rest are perfect. I can pick them up for $1400. I think that's a pretty good deal.

I'm just on the fence if this is what I want for different wheels. What do you guys think?

That's a really good price, I paid $1400 for wheels only for the M166.

Do a different set of wheels. Andrewsherman on M5Board has the 167's on his M5 (same color as your car too). I would do a nice set of 20's for your M5. It sets the car off so much better. Trust me. I get looks like you wouldn't believe and the 20's are the first thing they notice.

I'm with C on this one. Having owned the 167's previously, they are without a doubt one of the hottest BMW OEM setups, but you need 20's to really make your M stand out.

No offense to other m5 owners but yours is the sexiest m5 I've seen. That color is incredible, it looks like candy almost, not even real.

"a car can be any color as long as its black or white other colors you can go and paint your kitchen pots..." no offense but this is how I reply when people see some fruity color on a serious machine and tell me they would drive that
